It does as advertised. I have it mainly for emergencies for when there is no house power.
Wow Amazon is now the first place I shop for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. No one had the charger.
I upgraded his phone this year but he didn't like the new one and wanted to stay with his older phone that he was used to. My Dad got rid of his land line two years ago and only has a mobile phone.
I wanted the charger in case my Dad's power went out, he could charge his ONLY phone by car battery. My Dad is 81.
He stayed with the old one but I couldn't find a LG CU500 car charger because they said his phone was too old. I went online to Amazon and found a New charger for $00.01.

I am very satisfied with the product and pleased that it was also very affordable.
I do not think the charger is designed well.I think it is a horrible concept that the Sony Erickson made their charger male and female plug to be so difficult.
The car charger is ok it does what it suppose to.It an off brand car charger. I don't usually buy from other vender threw amazon because they rip you off on the shipping and handling or they charge you processing fee. they get more them what they should.
